hmm..im getting v lazy to blog now.. =p
guess i'll juz put something up while waiting for my manga to finish downloading..

a piece of advice from the all-knowing biyun:
DUN fly Asiana Airlines economy class (A330-300..this is the lousy airbus model) for long distance flights!!
i only flew for around 5 hours and my neck and shoulders were aching like siao..
the lousy seats are designed in such a way that u sit in a hunched-back position as long as ur in the seat..i enjoyed sitting on the toilet more than the lousy seat..
wert..Asiana flights both to AND fro singapore..*grumble
oh and they dunno how to adjust the pressure inside the plane..so it feels particularly horrible during the ascent and descent..SIA is soo much better..
When we found our seats on the plane:
My bro: issit just me or do u feel faint?
Me: feel gong gong..
My cousin: yah..abit..
Me: u low blood pressure everything also amplified la
My bro: the pilot is lousy..put high pressure in the cabin even before take-off..they are supposed to slowly increase the pressure when we r gaining altitude..
Me: do u smell exhaust gas...
bro n cousin: !!!
cow...can even smell exhaust in the plane...maybe its not the high pressure but the CO we r breathing in...but then agen maybe it's the pressure coz after the flight all our plastic water bottles were distorted horribly beyond recognition..
Anyway enuff about boring flight stuff...
our first meal in korea!!!!
we were overwhelmed just by looking at the table..
tableful of colourful dishes
which one to eat first?? y so many harr... btw the black empty plates in the middle of the pic are for the claypots (not out of the kitchen yet)and mind you..this is only one half of the table..
mmmmpphh!!!
so many dishes..but it gets easier to eat when uve tried most of them..coz u'll only go back to the same old few dishes which are not too salty or too bland or too spicy or too wierd..
their salty is really saltier than salt..there was this particular little dish that looked like harmless de-shelled see-hums..just try putting one in your mouth..
soooo salty till it stung..eat wif lots of rice oso no use ah!!
im still surprised they did not crystallise out in salt
u get sick of all the food after some time..i dun want to see rice n seaweed for the whole of this month..n i dun like kimchi..theres only one type of kimchi that i found was edible enough for a 2nd helping throughout the whole trip..
its really rice n seaweed soup n kimchi n lots of cold side dishes every single meal loh..even for breakfast.. all of us got so sick of the cold side dishes that we dumped them into the hotplate/bbq wok/steamboat to warm them up whenever there are hotplates n stuff available.
n the metal chopsticks are quite a pain to use...will get naima's shivering hands after the meal..hahah..they are heavy and slippery..and not practical for singapore food coz u'll most prob burn your mouth with the chopsticks..
dun eat your rice there by holding the rice bowl with one hand eh..coz it's made of metal..u burn your hand too.. and the koreans will most prob give u strange looks coz only beggars eat like that (leftover rice is cold mah..wun burn hand)..hmm..chinese and koreans have different eating styles even tho the utensils are the same..
haii..think i really v luo suo..even i write until v sian.. nvm..
next post!!----> suntanning nude and a truck going up the stairs!!haha.. and do i look jap? i got mistaken for being a japanese more than once over there..
